Fellowship of Holy Hip Hop, host of the annual
Holy Hip Hop
Awards held in Atlanta, GA, announced today that it has united with the Gospel Music
Association (GMA)/Dove Awards. The terms of this
partnership provide generally that: (1) Holy Hip Hop Awards will assist the Dove
Awards committee in managing the
'Rap/Hip Hop' category awards submissions for the Dove Awards: (a)
BEST RAP/HIP HOP ALBUMalbum; artist;
producer; label); (b) BEST RAP/HIP HOP RECORDED SONG (song;
album; artist; writer; label); and (2) the annual Holy Hip Hop
Awards Honoree ceremony will take place during Dove Awards week. 2011 Dove
Awards are set for: April 20, 2011 at the fabulous Fox Theatre (Downtown
Atlanta, GA).
Since 2000, over 1000 Holy Hip Hop Live
Performances have taken place at the Holy Hip Hop Awards in
Atlanta, with Supporters, Ministers of the Gospel (Emcees), Pastors, Churches
and Labels arriving from over 146 cities and 40 different states and via international countries
such as: England, Canada, Japan, Bahamas, Sweden
