Hip-Hop Hope Unity Conference and City Takers come to Nashville!
DaSouth.com's co-owner Tre9 and Freestyle Missions founder ScottFree will unfold their 11-city tour that will strengthen the Christian hip hop community in 2012. Beginning with Nashville, TN in February and ending in Chicago IL mid-December, this tour will unite more than the artists it serves. Dear TN co-laborers in CHH,It is our desire to present a vision for unity to the Christian hip-hop community in Nashville, TN. We are humbled by the call God has given us to be "Bridge Builders" for this unified movement amongst Christian hip-hop missionaries. It is for this reason we are acting on our call; sharing resources, experience, knowledge, and genuine servant-hood to our brothers and sisters who love Jesus and spread His word throughout the hip hop culture.
Hip Hop Hope unity engagements have successfully taken place in the following cities in 2011:Oklahoma City, OKAustin, TXShreveport, LANew York, NYAtlanta, GAChicago, ILWe are coming to serve, unite, train and equip real City Takers for Christ. While we realize division exists within many cities all over the U.S, we are certain that this short time with you will make a tremendous impact on your individual ministry and the hip-hop movement in Tennessee.
We will also be having our City Takers urban hip-hop service that night. This is an outreach service that exists to reach people in our culture who feel disconnected from God and traditional churches.It's a great opportunity to invite friends who typically won't attend most Christian events. Overview of Agenda
I. Fellowship and Networking LuncheonOne of the main things we want to make time for is getting to know one another. Our unity fellowship luncheon will include a meal together absolutely free of charge. It is our desire to get to know our fellow brothers and sisters who labor amongst us in Tennessee. This luncheon provides a laid back and relaxed way to talk about everything on our minds while filling our stomachs.
II. Unity Strategy Workshops
While the descriptions and titles below do not give full details about the unity strategy workshops, it is certainly a great overview of what we will be addressing during the presentations. It is important to note that we do not sell anything during our time there.
